SureStep Automation respects your right to control your data. If you would like to request deletion of your personal data from our systems, including data associated with SureStep Procurement, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Data Deletion

Send a deletion request

Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the following information:

Your full name
The email address associated with your account
Your business name (if applicable)
The phone number linked to your WhatsApp Business account (if using SureStep Procurement)

Identity verification

For security purposes, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. This helps ensure that data is only deleted at the request of the rightful account holder.

Processing

Once verified, we will process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when your data has been deleted.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon a valid deletion request, we will delete:

Your account information (name, email, phone number, business details).
WhatsApp message data processed through SureStep Procurement.
Procurement data (orders, supplier information, catalogs) associated with your account.
Usage logs and analytics data tied to your identity.

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after deletion where required:

Legal obligations: Data that we are legally required to retain (e.g., financial records, tax documentation) for the legally mandated retention period.
Aggregated data: Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytics purposes.
Ongoing disputes: Data relevant to any pending legal claims or disputes until resolution.

Facebook/Meta Login Data

If you logged in using Facebook or connected your Meta account, you can also manage your data through Meta's settings:

Go to your Facebook Apps and Websites settings.
Find SureStep Procurement in the list of active apps.
Click "Remove" to revoke access and request data deletion.

We will be notified of the removal and will process the data deletion accordingly.
